Ahmad Qazali (brother of Imam Muhammad Qazali), a famous Iranian scholar in the 5th and 6th centuries, died during his residing in Qazvin; and after that, his tomb became a monastery for his disciples. According to the existed inscription in the dome, the built date of the building dates back to 1328 AH and the founder of it was Haji abutorab Hosseini. Also, there was another inscription that referred to the cemetery of Soltan Seyed Mohammad.
Architecture of Ahmadieh Mosque
The entrance of the mosque is curved and has an iron door that adorned with tiling. The entrance door leads to two ways; one in the right side which goes down from few steps and leads to the courtyard where is under the mosque's sahn (a courtyard in Islamic architecture and most traditional mosques have a large central sahn), the other in the left side is a roofed way that is semicircular and turns around the mosque and leads to the sahn. On the northern side of the mosque, there is the tomb, a storeroom right next to it, a public bathroom on the western side, and a basement (cellar) on the southern side of it. Sash windows (Muntin), latticed lightwells, and ornamental vaults all have an amazing tilling based on Qajar architecture style.
