Tehran Ghadim Gate and Darb Koshk gate are two of the remaining of 9 gates in Qajar dynasty in Qazvin. This gate was outside the city in ancient times which was a place for people who were on foot or riding something. Now with the expansion of the texture of the city, it is now placed in the city.

Architecture of Tehran Ghadim Gate

Tehran Ghadim Gate is one of the three gates leading to Rey and Tehran that were used until the Qajar period and protected Qazvin from attacks, theft and looting. The main entrance is in the center and has a beautiful arch and a greater width and height than either side of the two communication way of the construction. This gate has eight minarets in symmetrical shape.
