Sanjide Mosque was built in the 6th AH century and is located in the neighbourhood named Rah Rey of Qazvin. Built in the Seljuk period, the mosque was registered on 1975 November 1, with registration number 1118 as one of Iran's national monuments.
Architecture of Sanjide Mosque
This mosque currently has only a square vaulted space. Sanjide Mosque on two sides, leads to alley and each side has three ways of communication. The mosque has a Seljuk-style vault, a short minaret and Moqarnas decorations beneath the vault and it has a crypt that closely resembles the ancient Mehri temples of ancient Iran.
It is one of the oldest mosques in Qazvin.
