History and culture of Imamzadeh Ali
Imamzadeh Ali Ibn Jafar, which is known as Imamzadeh Ali, was built in Qazvin during the Safavid period and his lineage goes back to Imam Jafar Sadegh. This religious building was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1375 AH with the number 1792.
Architecture of Imamzadeh Ali
The land of this shrine is almost rectangular. It has several entrance doors in the north, east and one door in the southern part, which is usually used for commuting. Imamzadeh Ali has two parts; The western part of the building with a dome and a porch, where the tomb and the shrine are located.
The dome of this shrine is small and with very beautiful tiles, like other tiles. And there is this large, beautiful porch behind the white columns, which there are always wide carpets, so that those who come to visit the shrine sit there for a while. The eastern part includes a newly built mosque, a library that can be used by those who are enthusiasts.

To visit Imamzadeh Ali, you can start your journey from Taleghani street to visit Cantor church with its beautiful red bricks, then enter Malek abad street and visit Ameneh khatoon Imamzadeh, another religious destination in Qazvin, and the tomb of Hamdollah Mostofi with a conical and blue dome.
Also, after visiting Imamzadeh Ali, you can walk in the old alleys and go to Tehran ghadim gate and see this beautiful element in the middle of the street.
