Saraye Vazir is one of the Sara (corridor) of Qazvin’s bazaar and it’s located on the eastern side of Qeisarie, Imam Khomeini Street, Qazvin, Qazvin Province, Iran. Saraye Razavi and Sayaye Haj Reza located near to it.

The architecture of Saraye Vazir was formed in the Safavid dynasty and rebuild and developed in the Qajar dynasty.

Saraye Vazir has an extensive courtyard and there are chambers on two floors around it. This champers has one meter high of the ground. Its porch has numbers of chambers with a tiled arch and there is a bricked dome, and a lightwell right in the center of the corridor with approximately one-meter diameter, which provides its light. The “Sara” had four Iwans, but presently the eastern side Iwan is ruined.

Saraye Vazir is full of tiling with adorable motifs of birds hunting, arabesque designs, hoarse, sun, and winged man as well.

Tips and ideas

Saraye Vazir located at the main porch of Sa’d al-Saltaneh Carvanserai, a permanent handicraft market. The handicrafts and most of the time the mood of Caravanserai attracts everyone. Normally we suggest you visit the other tourist attraction, but in this case, we only recommend to look all-around the Caravanserai and Saraye Vazir and record your memory by taking photos. If you want to rest a bit, you can sit on any stairs you want. If you’re hungry, there are number of coffee shops and restaurants. You can find everything here, so help yourself.

You can park your car at the public park in the Imam Khomeini Street and walk to the Saraye Vazir. Don’t forget, the Imam Khomeini Street is constantly congested, but when you get there fatigue goes out of your body and you’ll be content.
