Geographical location of Ahmadi Ice Cream Shop

This traditional ice cream shop is located north of Adl Square, in Dehkhoda Street near Pouya Book Store in Qazvin Province, Iran.

Reasons for reputation

It is one of the oldest ice cream shops in the city though it has recently been renovated and redecorated. It is mostly famous because of its mouth-watering traditional ice cream but if you get there, please don’t leave without tasting its one of a kind, milky and chocolate, ice cream cone. This shop only sells takeaway since it is small and has no space for customers to seat, but there are outdoor benches in front of the shop that you can seat and enjoy your ice cream. Also, don’t worry to get there late it is open till the dead of night.

Tips and ideas

There are many shopping malls nearby that you can go, also Khayyam Street, a street full of cafes, fast food, and shopping stores, is only a few blocks away. Just take the third exit, east, in the Adl Square, the first intersection is Khayyam. Feel free to go north or south of the street but be aware that since the street is the most important shopping center in the city, it is always crowded so you’d better take a walk or taxi or just park your car in nearby parking garages.

On the other hand, if you would prefer to visit historical sites, take the first exit from Adl Square and the second exit from Mir Emad Square to Naderi Street; there on your right, in the corner of Resalat Street, Daii Mansion is located which currently has become a permanent handicraft workshop.

Or you can kill two birds with one stone and after wandering in Khayyam Street go south and visit Municipality Mansion of Qazvin and Cantor Church, Russian Church, in Sharhdari Street.

REMEMBER, you don’t need any vehicle to visit Qazvin since it is a small city and all nearby places, provided in the map below, can be reached by no more than a fifteen-minute walk in old, beautiful sideways filled with kind, hospitable Persians.
