It is located in the middle of Dehkhoda Boulevard, Qazvin, Qazvin Province, Iran. The only breakfast restaurant that no other has ever been able to compete.

Reasons for reputation

One of the main reasons is good service, according to customers’ opinion, and the delicious Addasi (also transliterated as Adasi, Adasy, Adass) which is a kind of Iranian soup made of lentil and fried onion. Dehkhoda breakfast is a very small restaurant that is open from 6 AM to 11 AM, the time might differ on holidays, and there are only two options, Addasi or fried egg which are served with extra fried onion. In the end they will bring you a cup of hot and tasty black tea to make your day. the restaurant is always full of customers, mostly eating there but it has takeaway Addasi as well, parking their cars at the front street which makes the area crowded in the morning. There are also many kind and friendly waiters who will guide you to your seat and serve you in no time. Given that the place is very popular, it runs out of Addasi before 10 so if you want a taste of that mouth-watering Iranian soup, you’d better go there early. The restaurant has an old environment so don’t expect modern stuff, people go there for good food, not a good view.

Tips and ideas

After eating such delicious and heavy you’d better take a walk in Khayyam Street and wander around the many shops and boutiques at both sides of the street. To go there go straight ahead and turn right at Felestin Intersection then after a five-minute walk turn right again, there you will reach Khayyam Street. Or if you like to see historical monuments you can go to Mir Emad Square and visit Darbe Koshk Gate which is one of the two gates that remained from nine gates of Qazvin. You can take a taxi to go there or you can use the map below to reach it by no more than a 15-minute walk. After that continue to Naderi Street till Sabzeh Meydan (green square), the main historical texture of Qazvin, where Chehel Sotun Palace and Calligraphy museum is located. Also if you go there in spring or summer you can see many parrots on the palace’s trees and enjoy their beautiful singing.
