About 300 years ago, a benefactor called Nazar Ali who was known as Nazarbeyg built this mosque. Shal Bafan Mosque built in the Qajar era and nowadays it's available as a Hussainiya(Hussainiya is a multitude hall for the mourning of Muharram and other commemoration rituals of Shia) on particular days. Shall Bafan means those who wave scarf and the reason for naming this mosque is that women were waving scarves nearby of this mosque. Locals of Shal Bafan District were also waved scarves, hats, and socks.

This mosque is a simple brick building and has no façade decoration. This plane mosque has big and old windows that provide lots of good mood for you.
