Reasons for reputation
Unlike other zoos that put up animals for exhibition only to make money, this one is famous for its unique way of treatment toward animals. Nader Noori, an environmentalist, along with his American wife are in charge of this peculiar “nature village” which is a rehabilitation center and was opened to the public in 2011. These exceptional human beings created shelter and healthcare for injured and orphaned animals some of which are endangered or rescued from smugglers and cannot return to their homelands again.
The park is designed in three sections. The first is allocated to reptiles, birds, amphibians, frugivorous, etc. the others are for carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. It also includes an artificial waterfall made out of the rocks, a safari park, a market, and a museum in the village.
Interestingly, there are booths installed in the village that has special food for animals that people can use to feed them!
the whole purpose of the creation of this magnificent nature village was to make people more sympathetic toward nature and animals and to inform them about endangered or brutally hunted animals and how to save them. Gladly, since the foundation of the park the market of animal trafficking has drastically plunged.
