Geographical location of Ghale Kord Cave

Ghale Kord Cave is located in one and a half kilometers southwest of the Ghale Kord village. The village is located in the road of Qazvin to Hamedan, 140 kilometers from Qazvin province. On the rout of Qazvin to Hamedan, to access this cave, you should take the west road on the two-way to Hesar Valiasr.

History and culture of Ghale Kord Cave

The cave in which the objects and historical tools had discovered, the geologists assume that they belong to the third era of geology. The cave’s intrance is faced to the southeast. Its height is about 8 meters and its width is about 9 meters and has a semi-circular style. This cave has a corridor that arrives to a well, which is perpendicular to its original atrium. After passing the well, you reach to an era which have thick columns form of stalactite and stalacmite in different colors.

Ghale Kord Cave is among those caves that are less concerned by tourists, therefore there are a lot of spectacular view for the people who are interested in visiting uniqe places. On the other hand, its input is about 400 meters and because of the steep slope, you can get through just by technical equipment. But after the intrance, the 1000 meters hall that includes many fantastic icicle, attracts every tourist's attention to its beauty.
