Geographical location of Sepah Bazaarcheh
It is located in front of the Jameh Mosque of Qazvin, Sepah Street, Qazvin Province. Even though the street name has changed to “Shohada”, locals still prefer “Sepah”. Nearby famous buildings are Hakim District Center, cisterns, and Imamzadeh Zobeyde.
History and culture of Sepah Bazaarcheh
Sepah Street dates back to the Safavid era which was much wider than what’s left of it today. Abbas the Great and Tahmasp used the place to welcome ambassadors and other important people from other countries. Sepah Street was the center of Qazvin back then and currently is in the cultural range of the Qazvin city. Its north side leads to Chehelsotun Palace and Ali Qapu Gate, and its south side leads to Salamgah Street and Rah Rey street.

Delicious eggs with tasty Iranian tea can be tempting. After that, you can go north of the street and visit the Jameh Mosque. Also, there are some handicraft workshops behind the mosque in case you want to buy souvenirs. Then with a five-minute walk you will get to Sheikh al-Islam School and Mosque, a place you absolutely don’t want to miss. two minutes more walk will get you to sabzeh Meydan which is a center of everything in Qazvin. There on the west you can reach Sa’d al Saltaneh Caravanserai the best and biggest caravanserai in Iran.
REMEMBER that Qazvin is a small city and you can easily access its monuments by a few minutes’ walk using the map below.
