Geographical location of Sefidab Cave

The sefidab Cave  is named of the village which is located at 4 kilometers from the White Village. This cave is located in the heart of White Springs Mountain, at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. The opening of the cave is two meters high and three meters wide, while the entrance to the cave is a hole about one meter in diameter and a well four meters deep.The White Water Cave has a narrow aisle of about 80 meters with a downward slope and eventually leads to a water pond which is one of the natural and beautiful phenomena of the cave. The structure is calcareous and cavernous soaked and slippery, and since the caverns and stalactites (stalactites and stalactites) are mostly thin and small, the cave appears to be young cave. 

History and culture of Sefidab Cave

Geologists have estimated the age of the Sefidab Cave between 250 and 290 million years old based on calcareous rocks. Many adventures and tourists go to visit the Sefidab cave every year, because of the abundance of water, the numerous vertical atriums that reach 50 meters deep, the young stalactites and stalactites, and the muddy texture at various levels, that make the cave unique.

The cave is also located in the pleasant climate of Alamut, and if you travel in the spring you can enjoy  many springs and rivers of the area. Because of the remote location of this cave, you can plan to stay overnight in the village of Razmian and arrive about 1 hour early in the morning. Furthermore, the Alamut area has very little light pollution and is a great place for night photography enthusiasts.
