On his last mission, however, he was hit by a 23 mm round of an air defense system on Sardasht air space, a city located in West Azerbaijan, while he was in the rear seat of an F-5B on August 6, 1987. It was Eid Qurban (literally Festival of the Sacrifice) and he was returning from a mission in which he went to Iraq to set up a tactical plan to attack.

It's located at Sepah Street (aka Shohada Street), Mahdieh Alley.
